Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus || Spoken Word

I'm on facebook and I stumble on a video that my a friend of mine posted. "Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus||Spoken Word"-Jefferson Bethke. Initially I was blown away. First off I love spoken word poetry. Second I did have my reservations about the church and it's hypocrisy. And Third Jefferson Bethke was I guy I could relate to. Young, urban looking, and lived a double life before he fully excepted Jesus. I think this video went viral because it was the first time that young people saw someone they could relate to. Usually when I see people preaching about God they're in a suit, old, or at the airport, homeless person and not a person you look like you could go to school with. He had a lot of things to say that were on point but then I watched the Catholic Response. Note: At this point in time I barely scratched the surface in regards to the differences between Protestant Christians and Catholics which I'll touch on in a later post.

Fr. Barron's Response (his Youtube channel will answer a lot of questions you have about Roman Catholicism. His DVDs ("Catholicism") are awesome! The more you know the more you'll understand your faith. You'll be able to spread as well as defend it :)

These videos made me want to figure out the difference between Roman Catholicism and Protestant Christians. I started doing research (forums, YouTube videos, reading the bible) asking questions.

I felt myself getting closer to realizing the truth...
